Hello! My name is C.J. Skok and I am a fourth-year osteopathic medical student from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine of Midwestern University. Raised in Valparaiso, IN, I subsequently completed my undergraduate education at Indiana University-Bloomington, majoring in Neuroscience and Psychology (Departmental Honors) with a minor in German. I was also involved with the COSGP Executive Board last year as the COSGP National Research Representative.
It’s my distinct honor and privilege to serve this year as the COSGP National Parliamentarian. While part of my duties includes facilitating meetings in accordance with Robert’s Rules of Order, I am also a proponent for legislative advocacy among osteopathic students as well. As part of these duties, I co-chair of the Legislative Affairs committee as well as organize the National Osteopathic Student Caucus. In addition, I am the arbiter of COSGP’s Constitution and Bylaws, ensuring that our organization runs as effectively as possible.
If you have any questions or concerns that I can be of service with, please do not hesitate to reach out!
