The Outstanding Advancement in Osteopathic Medical Education (OAOME) award recognizes colleges of osteopathic medicine (COMs) who have instituted a curricular or programmatic enhancement that embraces the osteopathic philosophy, strengthens the DO student experience, and advances osteopathic medical education. Nominations are submitted by students to highlight the educational efforts of their home institutions. The award-winning institution is selected by the COSGP Medical Education Committee based on the quality of the program and its effect on osteopathic medical students.
