The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic is reshaping the approach osteopathic medical educators take to learning. In an increasingly virtual environment, educators are finding innovative technology approaches to maintain the quality of the education their students receive.
In response to the needs of the osteopathic medical education (OME) community, AACOM’s Transforming Medical Education through Technology (TIME) group has developed a peer-reviewed resource library to provide information and resources that can enhance technology use in OME across the continuum, from pre-clinical through continuing medical education. The resources contained within specifically address the technology platforms that assist in providing curriculum, in all pedagogical formats.
As an ongoing project, the group hopes that as additional resources are shared, osteopathic medical educators will be provided with more tools and techniques to make lasting improvements in how medical education is taught.
