Women in Medicine Month

Julieanne P. Sees, DO, MBA, shares her perspective as a woman in medicine and what it means for her to be distinctively DO P.R.O.U.D. From Dr. Elizabeth Blackwell to present day, Dr. Sees breathes life into the facets of osteopathic medicine that have pushed her to excel in her field.

AACOM spoke with Dr. Johnson about her introduction to the osteopathic profession, her military experience and her advice for osteopathic medical researchers. Her significant achievements and groundbreaking leadership serve as a powerful and inspiring example to women across the osteopathic profession and beyond.
