Status of Applications to the ACGME
Table 1 provides a brief snapshot of the status of ACGME applications through the single accreditation system as of February 27, 2019. The data are pulled from the ACGME Accreditation Data System (ADS) public site. These data only capture applications of programs and institutions through the single accreditation system process and do not include programs that may have been previously ACGME accredited, such as dually-accredited programs. Thirty-two programs (of the 724 applications) are in pre-accreditation status and awaiting a review. Of those reviewed, 593 have already achieved accreditation.
