The fourth annual Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) Integrating Quality Meeting: Collaborating for Care will be held June 7-8, 2012, at the InterContinental Chicago O’Hare Hotel in Rosemont, Illinois. Confirmed keynote speaker Mary Wakefield, PhD, RN, Administrator of the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), will kick off the meeting. The meeting will focus on interprofessional approaches to making improvements in both patient safety and quality of care and training across health professions education. Participating health care professionals, educators, medical students and trainees can expect an interactive forum for discussing team-based approaches to quality improvement, initiatives for integrating clinical and academic quality missions, and scholarly careers in quality and performance improvement.
