On April 3, the Josiah Macy Jr. Foundation released its new report entitled Transforming Patient Care: Aligning Interprofessional Education with Clinical Practice Redesign. The report was inspired by discussions held among leaders in health professions education and health care delivery during the January 2013 Macy Conference. The main focus of the foundation’s new report is providing practical approaches to aligning health care education and practice, as well as recommending strategies for linking interprofessional education and collaborative care.
