After several months of testing, AACOM has launched its new online collaboration tool for AACOM councils. Over the coming weeks, each of the existing council listservs will be transitioned to the more robust AACOMmunities forum. Other AACOM groups using the existing listervs will be transitioned to AACOMmunities in mid-April.

AACOMmunities offers enhanced tools to improve and encourage professional collaboration among members by highlighting latest discussion postings and shared files, announcements, and quick links. New resource libraries will house official documents such as bylaws and meeting minutes as well as member-posted documents, videos, webinars, photos, and other relevant resources.

Users are encouraged to check out the AACOMmunities home page as well, with highlighted videos, a news feed, and updates of the latest tweets from AACOM’s Twitter account. Members also have the option to start their own blogs using the AACOMmunities forum.
