On January 28, the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences—formerly KCUMB—announced the school’s refreshed brand identity which included a revised acronym, now KCU. KCU unveils its newly branded name in recognition of its upcoming centennial celebration.

In anticipation of the school’s anniversary, KCU President and CEO Marc B. Hahn, DO, notes that “it is crucial to have an identity that accurately reflects the importance and impact of the globally-recognized medical university that we are.”
