AACOM Participant Report: Collaborating Across Borders V

he 2015 Collaborating Across Borders V (CAB V) conference was held September 29 to October 2 in Roanoke, VA under the key theme, The Interprofessional Journey: Advancing Integration and Impact

The event drew more than 700 attendees from six countries to explore IPE and IPP in health and socialcare, including AACOM Scholar in Residence Stephen Davis, PhD, OU-HCOM Director of Faculty Development, crafted the following report based on his experiences as an attendee and distilling key outcomes from this year's event

CAB V built on the success of previous CAB conferences, accelerating the IPE journey by engaging the expanding community of individuals, professions and organizations committed to collaboration as the best way of providing quality care and better health outcomes. The conference featured best practices, showcased evidence-based outcomes and lessons learned, and provided a venue for scholarly dialogue and productive networking.
