T he 2016 AACOM Medical Education Research Grant proposal cycle is now open. Osteopathic medical education (OME) researchers are encouraged to submit proposals on topics related to workforce issues, such as the implications of the expansion of osteopathic medical colleges, branch campuses, additional teaching sites, class sizes, and other areas of increasing interest.

To submit a proposal, visit the 2016 AACOM Medical Education Research Grant submission portal. The submission deadline is February 16, 2016.
The goal of AACOM Research Grant program is to award topic-specific medical education research and institutional research grants. Institutional research is a broad category of work done at colleges (and across colleges within a profession) to inform decision-making and planning.
A webinar will be scheduled to assist potential applicants in understanding AACOM’s grant application and review process, and to provide guidance on factors that influence a successful grant application submission. There will also be time established for a question and answer session following the presentation.
