joined AACOM as Interim Vice President of Communications and Marketing, effective April 18, 2016. Glassroth comes to AACOM with over 20 years of experience in senior Communications and Marketing roles. Most recently in the health care sector.
In his AACOM role, Glassroth will head the development and execution of an integrated communications and marketing strategy to support the organization’s public policy agenda and its mission to promote excellence and innovation in osteopathic medical education (OME), research, and service.
In 2005, Glassroth founded his own consulting firm, The Glassroth Company, which specializes in strategic communications, reputation management, executive communications, and marketing and branding. Earlier in his career, Glassroth held executive positions in global public relations firms, for profit companies and was a broadcast journalist.
As AACOM Interim VP of Communications and Marketing, Glassroth will provide branding, messaging, public relations, and enterprise-wide communications direction. Working closely with staff and leadership at AACOM, its member colleges, and other affiliate organizations, Glassroth will lead the Association’s efforts to expand public awareness of OME and increase its visibility.
