JFWW offers unique and informative opportunities, free virtual training, and free continue education (CE) to health care providers and students across America on topics related to the health and health care of veterans, military service members, and their families.

Enriching Medical Education

The academic medicine community has been supporting the efforts of the nation’s military and veterans for 70 years, since the establishment of partnerships between medical schools and Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) hospitals.

Join AACOM and your fellow COMs in a special effort to provide students with the clinical and cultural competencies they need to effectively deliver health care to our nation’s military and veterans communities during the week of Veterans Day 2016.

Pledge to Participate

By pledging to participate in this year’s initiative, each COM will commit to hosting a two-hour military medicine educational activity for DO students during JFWW and on Veterans Day, using its own curricular modules and/or military medicine resources available. Share your COM's military medicine curricular activities.

Your COM will be added to our list of proud participants who are committed to advancing the Joining Forces mission
