The National Collaborative for Improving the Clinical Learning Environment (NCICLE) is a collaborative of 30 member organizations committed to improving the educational experience and patient care outcomes within clinical learning environments.
On October 13-14, the members of NCICLE will hold a symposium on the interprofessional clinical learning environment. David Farmer, PhD, LPC, LMFT, will attend the symposium as a representative of AACOM. Stephen Shannon, DO, MPH, AACOM President and CEO, will also be in attendance. The symposium’s purpose is to enhance a national conversation that seeks to identify ways to assist clinical learners to embrace interprofessional collaboration and learning throughout their professional careers—from early learners first entering the CLE to experienced providers who are committed to lifelong learning as members of high functioning clinical care teams.
