The National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) is currently seeking nominations for three director positions, one resident/fellow physician, and one medical student for its Board of Directors. These positions will be effective July 1, 2019. Last year, University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine (UNE COM) medical student Thomas Wickham was elected to the Board, becoming the first osteopathic medical student to be elected to the position. For this year’s slate of candidates, individuals at osteopathic institutions and programs are encouraged to seek nomination in order provide continued and expanded representation from the osteopathic medical education community.
The deadline for nominations is Friday, February 1, 2019. Nominees who meet eligibility criteria will receive a supplemental application requesting information about their knowledge and experience with the NRMP.
