New for 2018, Advocacy for Healthy Partnerships (AHP) and Osteopathic Medical Educators & Leaders (OMEL) Conference will be combined into one program, delivering Leadership, Education, Advocacy & Development (LEAD) training to individuals throughout the osteopathic medical profession. Additional content will be delivered through focused tracks providing advanced educational content to meet the needs of individual attendees.
This integrated experience will include keynote speakers for all attendees and networking opportunities allowing professionals across the career spectrum to learn from each other. Breakout sessions will give individuals a chance to choose the topic areas and focus that best meet their career and leadership development needs.
The new program - AHP/OMEL: LEAD - will take place on Jan. 25-26, 2018, in Austin, Texas.

What time will the meeting take place? Is there a tentative schedule?
The conference is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. on January 25 and conclude by 4 p.m. on January 26. More information will be available in late October.
Various AOA related meetings will take place on Saturday, January 27 (AAOE, COCA Evaluator Training, Board Certification, Bureau of Emerging Leaders, etc..). Please contact your bureau, council or committee Secretary to determine meeting schedules.
What is included in the registration fee?
Registration includes full access to the conference. Thursday will include lunch and a reception, Friday will include breakfast and lunch. Attendees will be eligible to earn up to 10 Category 1-A CME Credits.
How much CME Credit is available?
Participants may earn up to 10 AOA Category 1-A CME Credits.
Is there a discount on airfare?
More information about airfare discounts to be posted in early October.
What is the refund policy?
If registration cancellations are received in writing before midnight EST 30 days prior (no later than December 25), event management will refund your registration in full. Cancellations NOT received in writing by the date required will not be eligible for a refund; however, you may send a replacement for a $25.00 change fee. Replacement or refund requests must be made in writing to email@example.com or by clicking the link in the confirmation email. No-shows will not be refunded.
All registration fees are in US Dollars. Registrations will NOT be processed without full payment.
As a registrant or participant, you agree to AOA's use of your likeness captured by the official show photographer or videographer, in any future promotional meeting materials.
