The purpose of the Marketing and Communications Advisory Council is to:

  • Discuss ideas pertaining to marketing and communications efforts for the member institutions of AACOM.
  • Present recommendations for the improvement of communications and marketing efforts on behalf of osteopathic medical education to the Board of Deans.
  • Assist new and developing colleges of osteopathic medicine in implementating sound communications and marketing programs.
  • Further the efforts of the promotion of osteopathic medical schools and the osteopathic profession to the general public, media, legislators and all other individuals/entities who would benefit from knowledge of osteopathic medicine.
