Connect with More Residency Programs at the AACOM/AOGME Virtual Residency Fair

Join us for the first AACOM/AOGME Virtual Residency Fair, and take advantage of a great opportunity to connect with participating programs during the 2020-2021 residency application process. 

Registration for this event is only open to current students and residency programs. Because this year is unlike any other for the residency application and review process, and AACOM and AOGME strongly encourage you to use the virtual fair to make connections and learn more about each program.

When is the Virtual Residency Fair?

  • Friday, August 14, 1:00 PM - 9 PM ET

What is a Virtual Residency Fair?

  • The fair will include a virtual event site and live chat features, all web-based and internet-accessible using a desktop, laptop, and mobile devices. 

  • There will also be an interactive chat tool, which provides live communication between you and program representatives.  

  • Participating organizations will host their own interactive chat room and customized profile page, which will showcase information about their program, such as organization descriptions, videos, pictures, PDF links, and social media links.  

Who Should Attend?

  • Residency and fellowship programs and any medical student seeking to learn more about residency and fellowship education programs. Third and Fourth-Year Students strongly encouraged to participate!

  • The fair will give candidates access to many program representatives, along with opportunities to ask questions and learn more about the programs that are of interest to them.

Where Do I Have To Go?

The event happens online! Each organization chooses their own chat times, so be prepared to keep a flexible schedule during the virtual fair to speak with the programs you’re interested in.
