Dr. Robert Cain among luminaries inducted into Gold Humanism Honor Society
IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Bethesda, MD) – The American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine (AACOM) today celebrates the induction of AACOM President and CEO Robert A. Cain, DO, into the Gold Humanism Honor Society.
“I am deeply honored to have been selected to join this distinguished group of compassionate individuals who put care and human connection first,” said Dr. Cain. “As an osteopathic physician and educator, I have been trained to respect the health of the whole person, and to appreciate every aspect of what makes us all human. I’ve dedicated my life to sharing these values with others and am proud to become a member of a society that upholds these same ideals.”

As part of the Gold Humanism Summit, Dr. Cain was among 15 other luminaries honored with membership into the society.
The Gold Humanism Honor Society is a community of medical students, physicians and other leaders who have been recognized for their compassionate care. The society reinforces and supports the human connection in healthcare, which is essential for the health of patients and clinicians.
