The Modern-Day Ultrasound Curriculum
A lunch and learn with Dr. Ryan Anderson of William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine
Dr. Ryan Anderson, DO, Ultrasound Director at William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine (WCUCOM), has developed an innovative curriculum that provides point-of-care ultrasound certification for all graduating medical students. In this talk, he’ll share the precise details of that curriculum, and how he’s successfully implemented it in his classroom.
Dr. Anderson has dedicated his career to spreading excitement for ultrasound proficiency. In an affirmation of this vision, WCUCOM has purchased over 80 handheld Butterfly probes for its learners. Join us for lunch at AACOM on Wednesday, April 26, 12:00 - 1:00 pm to explore how Dr. Anderson and educational champions across the country are pioneering a new model of learning with ultrasound.
