Past initiatives have included surveys on campus climate and awareness and use of campus mental health resources.

COSGP Wellness Committee
The overall goals of the Wellness Committee are to develop monthly initiatives to implement on all osteopathic campuses nationwide, provide student opinion regarding wellness advocacy, organize the mental empowerment directive to ensure advocacy goals are met, and facilitate wellness programming at COSGP quarterly business meetings.
We aim to provide resources and support to all osteopathic medical students regarding mental health and wellness, especially through the wellness toolbox created by the committee which is available to all students nationwide.

AACOM's Mental Empowerment Directive
The goal of AACOM's Mental Empowerment Directive (MED) is to provide consistent and effective wellness programming on osteopathic campuses. This programming is created and managed by COSGP's MED officer and
Wellness Committee members, who strive to honor and help mitigate the effects of medical school on mental health and elevate conversations surrounding the need for emotional wellness as students and future doctors.
