Who We Collect Data From
Annual Survey data are collected from all colleges of osteopathic medicine (COMs). COM deans designate survey coordinators each year to manage the data collection and survey completion/submission process.
The Applicant and Matriculant data are drawn from AACOMAS application data, and the decision codes are entered by member COMs in Liasion’s WebAdMIT.
The Student Surveys are administered to entering students and graduating seniors. Each COM’s Survey coordinators work with AACOM’s research department to administer each survey annually.
Ad hoc surveys are distributed throughout the year to our member COMs. These surveys collect key data points such as faculty salary, match results, etc.
AACOM Research publishes several reports to the reports webpage and created several interactive dashboards exclusive for our members and COMs.
If you are at a COM and would like access, please contact your dean for approval and forward this approval to research@aacom.org.
Complete this form to request data not published to AACOM’s website, request to support a research project or to field a survey with AACOM.
