This education session aims to educate residents on moonlighting policies, providing general understanding and guidance on this issue during residency and following residency. The webinar will also highlight a current resident’s perspective on moonlighting.
Goals and objectives:
- Describe and discuss what moonlighting is
- Understand general moonlighting policies for GME, including what residents should be aware of if considering moonlighting
- Discuss what options residents have for moonlighting and what these options depend on
- Describe what, if any, legal considerations there are for moonlighting during residency
- Discuss any considerations for moonlighting pertaining to specific specialties, such as specialties that do not allow moonlighting
