Curricular Offerings

The osteopathic approach to medicine is humanistic, integrated, and innovative.

Diverging from the traditional approach seen in many medical schools, our Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) program offers students unique exposure interactive learning environments. Through a comprehensive curriculum that includes standardized patient encounters, human-patient simulations, modern medical technology, interprofessional education activities, an ultrasound program, and clinical skills labs, our students gain practical and essential experience in identifying and addressing patient needs.

We’ve developed a curriculum that can empower a community of lifelong learners and problem-solvers, capable of addressing challenges that the medical field has yet to encounter. One way we do this is by placing an emphasis on collaborative, interactive, and case-based learning. We also emphasize hands-on clinical education in years three and four to provide students with meaningful opportunities to gain real-life experience with patients from our partnerships with local physicians, hospitals, and clinical systems.
