Vertical Aeroponic Gardens and lessons to address the high rate of food insecurity in Arkansas

To address the high rate of food insecurity in Arkansas, which has among the higest rates in the nation, the ACHE, Research Institute health and Wellness Center developed a pipeline program addressing health and nutrition education in select local schools through the Vertical Aeroponic Garden Program. The RIHWC provides the local schools with the Vertical Aeroponic Gardens and lessons that can be incorporated into all aspects of the core curriculum as well as provides demonstrations from ACHE faculty and staff.
