Promote Well-being Along the Continuum of GME
Goal 1: Promote well-being among residents and fellows.
Goal 2: Survey residents and fellows on personal and employer driven initiative to address well-being.
Goal 3: Publish best practices in well-being based on survey results.
Goal 4: Promote awareness of alternative practice strategies such as Team Based Care
Goal 5: Incorporate wellness topics into educational programming, newsletters, website and other communications.
Establish and Promote AOGME Membership Value
Goal 1: Create robust educational activities (CME, MoC, scholarly activities) that meet the needs of modern-day residents and fellows by exploring alternatives to in-person, classroom based education such as webinars, podcasts, and/or video conferencing.
Goal 2: Establish measures for determining member satisfaction.
Goal 3: Promote the development of inter-professional relationships and networking opportunities among AOGME members.
Goal 4: Keep AOGME members informed of member value efforts and opportunities.
Promote Advocacy Efforts in Consultation with AACOM Government Relations
Goal 1: Support AACOM Government Relation’s advocacy agenda.
Goal 2: Promote osteopathic medicine to the public and legislators.
Goal 3: Support attendance at national advocacy events.
