KCU-COM Announces Campus Dean for Joplin Campus

Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences College of Osteopathic Medicine (KCU-COM) has appointed Laura M. Rosch, DO, CS, MS, FACOI, to the position of Campus Dean for its Joplin, MO location. Dr. Rosch’s new appointment was effective January 2, 2019.
“I am so proud to be joining the KCU-Joplin team," Dr. Rosch said in a KCU-COM press release December 12. “This is a fantastic opportunity to serve the community by educating the next generation of physicians for Joplin and the region. The entire community supports this effort; Joplin truly is unique and special.”
Prior to this role, Dr. Rosch has served as Chair of the Department of Internal Medicine at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine of Midwestern University (CCOM) in Downers Grove, IL—where she received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree—and as a hospitalist in Winfield, IL. She also served as a Program Director at both Mt. Sinai Hospital and Medical Center, and Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington, IL. Dr. Rosch is the Past President the Illinois Osteopathic Medical Society (IOMS) and is a past member of the American Osteopathic Directors of Medical Education (AODME), now the Assembly of Osteopathic Graduate Medical Educators (AOGME).
