AACOM is pleased to announce the launch of the Graduate Medical Education (GME) Leadership Development Program (GME-LDP), a hands-on program for GME professionals, as part of its Leadership Institute.
Over a twelve-month period, the GME-LDP will engage participants through a two-part curriculum that includes one-on-one guidance from top practicing professionals through a series of live webinars and a one-day on-site workshop. The program will be open to all professionals involved in GME, but is especially geared toward new, current, and aspiring GME faculty.
The program will include group discussions, case studies, role playing, interactive exercises, and presentations to help participants build and support their professional and personal growth. By focusing on creating a clear bridge between theory and practice, GME-LDP will provide professionals with new tools to look at their roles through a widened lens.
Throughout the curriculum, the GME-LDP will focus on sharpening skills in curriculum design, teaching, assessment, administration, communication, recruitment, leadership, wellness, self-care, professionalism, and program evaluation.
