Applications Are Now Open for the SLDP Class of 2020-2021

The 2020-2021 application cycle for AACOM’s Senior Leadership Development Program (SLDP) is now open. SLDP Fellows develop and enhance their critical leadership and management competencies to meet challenges and identify opportunities presented by a dynamic health care environment. Unlike general leadership programs, the SLDP curriculum is based on extensive feedback from nearly 250 chairs from colleges of osteopathic medicine (COMs), associate deans, and directors, as well as 30 COM deans. The program is revised annually based on program evaluations and input from senior COM leaders.

The program is open to:

• Current or interim deans, new or seasoned; or
• Other senior leaders identified by schools as potential future deans

SLDP uses a competitive application process. Preference is given to new deans, although all deans and other senior leaders who aspire to become a dean are also encouraged to apply.
