2019 AOGME Chair

July 31, 2019

This month, we are excited to open registration for the AOGME Graduate Medical Education Leadership Development Program (GME-LDP). Working in partnership with the Academy for Academic Leadership (AAL), the GME-LDP is a hybrid of live webinars (also offered asynchronously) and a one-day, in-person workshop. The program will include group discussions, case studies, role playing, interactive exercises, and presentations to help build and support your professional and personal growth. By focusing on creating a clear bridge between theory and practice, GME-LDP will provide you with new tools and leave you looking at your role through a widened lens. Registration is now open, learn more and sign-up today!

This month, the new AOGME Board met for the annual strategic planning retreat in Chicago during the AOA House of Delegates. The group celebrated the progress on the 2018-19 goals and objectives and looked to future initiatives to support the membership and osteopathic GME. The Board will finalize the strategic goals for 2019-2020 in August—stay tuned for more details on what we have planned this upcoming year!
