The American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine Application Service – also known as AACOMAS - is the centralized online application service for U.S. colleges of osteopathic medicine.
AACOMAS simplifies the process of applying to osteopathic medical school. Complete one application and send it with the required information to our centralized service. We verify your application for accuracy, process it and send it with your materials to those osteopathic medical schools you designate.
Key Dates: 2026-2027 Application Cycle
May 4, 2026:
AACOMAS application opens for submissions. Colleges begin receiving and processing applications.
April 30, 2027:
Last day for AACOMAS application submissions to be completed.
Academic Update (Coursework) Periods:
1st Academic Update (AU) Period – 9/1/26-10/9/26
2nd Academic Update (AU) Period – 12/14/26-2/12/27
3rd Academic Update (AU) Period – 3/15/27-6/11/27

AACOMAS Fee Waiver
A limited number of application fee waivers are available for an admissions cycle and are worth $198 each. Approved fee waivers must be used within 14 days. Waivers will expire if not applied to a submitted application within that time frame.
