Members of the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA)’s Advisory Committee on Training in Primary Care Medicine and Dentistry met on February 23 and 24, 2023, to discuss their recent report on addressing health inequities and hear from subject matter experts. Among the topics discussed was a presentation on dissemination strategies from the Council of Graduate Medical Education’s Report on Strengthening the Rural Health Workforce. This important report recommends increased federal investment to establish a stable healthcare workforce in rural communities and linking graduate medical education (GME) funding to a community’s health needs.

You can help ensure the nation’s rural healthcare needs are met by telling your Members of Congress to pass the Rural Physician Workforce Production Act!
