Register for AACOM Webinar on Supreme Court, OME and Race-Conscious Admissions: The U.S. Supreme Court is slated to rule on two cases involving the use of race as a factor in admissions decisions. AACOM Advocacy Day 2023 Registration Is Now OpenJoin us virtually on October 17-18, 2023, to advocate for federal policy priorities important to the OME community. AACOM Advocacy Day will feature virtual informational panels and opportunities to engage Congress in support of policies and programs critical to osteopathic medical schools, students and physicians. New Funding Opportunity Available Now with the HCOP Program: The Health Careers Opportunities Program (HCOP) provides opportunities to people from economically or educationally disadvantaged backgrounds to develop their skills to compete for, enter and graduate from health or allied health professions schools. HRSA will award approximately $13.5 million to fund up to 21 grants for five years. To check eligibility status and navigate the application process, view the funding notice. Applications Now Open for the NHSC 2023 Loan Repayment Programs: Osteopathic physicians who commit to serve in HPSAs may receive loan repayment through the National Health Service Corp (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program (LRP)Substance Use Disorder Workforce LRP and Rural Community LRP. Each program has varying eligibility requirements and award levels. Applications are due on April 25, 2023, at 7:30 PM ET.

Applications Now Open for the NHSC Scholarship Program: The NHSC Scholarship Program provides scholarships to health profession students pursuing careers in primary care in exchange for their commitment to serve in high-need, underserved communities.
