Register Now for AACOM & HRSA Joint Webinar: Osteopathic medical students are encouraged to register for the AACOM and Health Resources and Services Administration joint webinar covering the 2024 NHSC Students to Service (S2S) Loan Repayment Program (LRP) on October 25, 2023, from 2:00 – 3:00 PM ET. Medical students in their final year of school can receive awards up to $120,000 in exchange for a three-year commitment providing primary care services at NHSC-approved sites in high-need rural and other health professional shortage areas. This year, the NHSC added an additional $40,000 supplement for medical students who commit to providing OB/GYN services in a maternity care target area. Applications Open for $10,000 Forgivable Loan: The Motyka Dannin Foundation Forgivable Loan is currently accepting applications for its $10,000 forgivable loan. Eligible applicants are second- or third-year students who are from Indiana (regardless of which COM they attend) and intend to practice in Indiana after completion of a residency in family medicine, osteopathic manipulative medicine, general internal medicine, general surgery, psychiatry, general pediatrics or obstetrics/gynecology.
