AACOM Advocacy Day Contest Winners Announced: AACOM held two contests to encourage participation in Advocacy Day 2023. In the first, we incentivized COM student leaders to encourage students to register and participate in the event. We are excited to recognize the Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine (RVUCOM)'s Colorado campus as the winner of this contest. RVUCOM Colorado’s Student Government Association won a $1,000 dollar prize. We also partnered with Jaanuu to give away free pairs of scrubs to AACOM advocates. Advocates were asked to follow AACOM and Jaanuu on Instagram, film a one-minute video on the FAIR Act or the benefits of community-based clinical rotations and post their video to Instagram with our contest hashtag: #AACOMxJaanuu. Maysen Smith, OMS II at RVUCOM Southern Utah is our AACOMxJaanuu scrubs contest winner!
