House Energy and Commerce Committee Holds Markup of 19 Healthcare Bills

  • On December 5, 2023, the House Energy and Commerce Committee held a markup to consider and advance 19 pieces of healthcare legislation. The bills focused on three key areas—lowering the cost of medicines for patients in Medicare Part D, improving access to innovation through policies focused on improving Medicare coverage processes and preserving and improving access to care through policies dealing with physician reimbursement issues.
