Register For the Council of Osteopathic Student Government Presidents’ Student Advocacy Webinar: Join AACOM and the Council of Osteopathic Student Government Presidents on Tuesday, May 14, from 6:00 –7:00 PM ET for an educational webinar on osteopathic student advocacy at the local, state and federal levels. View CDC Resources for Helping to End the HIV EpidemicEnding the HIV Epidemic in the U.S. is a U.S. Department of Health and Human Services initiative to reduce new HIV infections in the United States by 75 percent by 2025 and by 90 percent by 2030 and advance health equity by scaling up key HIV prevention and treatment strategies. Let’s Stop HIV Together is the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)’s national campaign to help end the HIV epidemic. Healthcare providers play a key role in this campaign. , and the CDC developed customized resources for this audience. Providers can visit the HIV Nexus website, a one-stop source of practical and credible information to help providers learn more about major topics in HIV: preventionscreening and treatment.

Applications Now Open for the NHSC 2024 Loan Repayment Programs: Osteopathic physicians who commit to serve in Health Professional Shortage Areas may receive loan repayment through the National Health Service Corp (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program (LRP), the Substance Use Disorder Workforce LRP and the Rural Community LRP. Each program has varying eligibility requirements and award levels. Applications are due on May 9, 2024, at 7:30 PM ET.
