Call for Nominations: AOGME Residents and Fellows Council (RFC) Leadership Positions

The AOGME Nominations Committee is seeking nominations for the Residents and Fellows Council (RFC) Board for a two-year term starting in May 2025 and ending in April 2027. Serving on the RFC Board offers a unique opportunity to shape the experiences of residents and fellows nationwide. Your involvement with AOGME and AACOM makes you an excellent candidate, so we encourage you to consider nominating yourself for one of the positions listed below.

Open Positions:

• Chair: Leads the RFC Board, liaises with the AOGME Board and ensures Board members fulfill their duties.
• Vice-Chair: Assists the Chair, maintains order in meetings and steps into the Chair role if needed.
• Secretary: Records and distributes meeting notes for the RFC and RFC Board.
• Membership and Recruitment Chair: Liaises with COSGP and SOMA, leads membership recruitment efforts.
• Policy Chair: Facilitates communications between RFC and AACOM Government Relations.
• Education Chair: Oversees events and educational resources aligned with strategic goals.
