CHSU-COM Celebrates 100% Residency Match Rate for Third Consecutive Year
California Health Sciences University College of Osteopathic Medicine (CHSU-COM) announced a 100% residency match rate for its third consecutive cohort of medical students set to graduate this May.
During its 2026 Match Day celebration, the 131 fourth-year medical students at CHSU-COM continued the extraordinary match results set by the inaugural Class of 2024 and Class of 2025 graduates.
The achievement was celebrated with family and friends on Friday, when medical students in the CHSU-COM Class of 2026 simultaneously learned the residency specialty program they will start after completing medical school.
“We are incredibly proud that our Class of 2026 medical students achieved an impressive 100% residency placement, continuing the legacy of our first two cohorts,” stated John Graneto, DO, dean of the College of Osteopathic Medicine.

ICOM Celebrates Fifth Annual Match Day
The Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine (ICOM) celebrated Match Day with its Class of 2026, as 146 graduating physicians learned where they will complete their residency training. ICOM reported that 100% of its graduating student physicians matched into residency training programs.
Match Day is a major milestone for fourth-year medical students and occurs annually on the third Friday in March, when the National Resident Matching Program notifies students where they will continue their medical training.
Sixteen graduates will remain in Idaho for their graduate medical education, also known as residency.

Noorda-COM Celebrates Second Annual Match Day with 98.3% Placement Rate
Noorda College of Osteopathic Medicine (Noorda-COM) celebrated its second annual Match Day, achieving a 98.3% placement rate for its graduating class.
This milestone reflects the college’s continued growth in preparing residency-ready physicians across a variety of specialties.

TUCOM Celebrates Residency Match Day 2026
Touro University California College of Osteopathic Medicine (TUCOM) celebrated Match Day 2026 as the Class of 2026 learned where they will begin the next phase of their medical careers.
Students matched into 18 specialties, including primary care, emergency medicine, psychiatry, neurology, anesthesiology, general surgery, pathology, obstetrics and gynecology, orthopedic surgery, dermatology, neurosurgery and radiology.
Students secured residency positions across programs in California and throughout the nation.

WVSOM Students Secure Competitive Residency Placements
The West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine (WVSOM) reported a 99% residency placement rate, with 180 members of the Class of 2026 securing positions as resident physicians.
Students matched into competitive specialties including plastic surgery, neurosurgery, interventional radiology, urology and orthopedic surgery, as well as anesthesiology.
Match Day took place March 20, 2026, marking a defining milestone for graduating medical students.

WesternU COMP Celebrates 100% Residency Placement for Third Consecutive Year

Western University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific (WesternU COMP) achieved a 100% residency placement rate for the third consecutive year.
Students celebrated Match Day on March 20, 2026, in Ontario, California, with family and friends as they learned their residency placements.
WesternU COMP-Northwest Celebrates Match Day Success

Western University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific-Northwest (COMP-Northwest) celebrated Match Day on March 20, 2026, achieving a 99% placement rate, with 50% of graduates entering primary care.
The campus is in the process of transitioning to its new name, the Heatherington College of Osteopathic Medicine.
TouroCOM Students Celebrate Match Day Across Campuses
Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine (TouroCOM) students in Harlem, New York, and Middletown, New York, celebrated Match Day alongside peers nationwide.
More than 53,000 applicants participated in the largest match in history.
Kenneth Steier, DO, MBA, MPH, MHA, MGH, executive dean of TouroCOM Harlem, Middletown and Montana, addressed students and emphasized the distinctiveness of osteopathic medicine.
