Despite the urgent need for competent clinicians, especially crucial in rural and underserved communities, gaps in clinical training capacity are creating a bottleneck in the medical education pipeline.
To address this need, the AACOM's UME-GME Task Force's developed the ClinEd Accelerator: Hacking the Future of Osteopathic Clinical Education, a six-week virtual hackathon designed to bring together teams across sectors, disciplines and communities to develop solutions for some of the most pressing challenges facing clinical education.

Faculty, physicians, clinical educators, and preceptors
Clinical education administrators
Health system and residency program leaders
Technology and AI innovators
Entrepreneurs, researchers, and policy experts
Anyone committed to strengthening clinical education
Throughout the event, competitors will:
- Receive mentorship from experts across the osteopathic community
- Pitch solutions to a panel of leaders and innovators
- Have the potential to earn seed funding for their innovation
Top solutions will earn a share of the $10,000 prize pool. More information about the criteria, judges, mentors and other programming will be announced soon.
