2019-20 Osteopathic Medical College First-Year Enrollment by Gender and Race/Ethnicity

Enrollment Gender Osteopathic Medical Colleges Race/Ethnicity Research Reports Students Trends

First-year enrollment for academic year 2019-20 is 8,805. This is an increase of 363 enrollees when compared to first-year enrollment for academic year 2018-19. 

Male enrollment increased by 57 enrollees or 1.3 percent while female enrollment increased by 308 enrollees or 7.5 percent since academic year 2018-19. There was a decrease of two enrollees for the undisclosed category when compared to academic year 2018-19.

The underrepresented minority (URM) percentage for academic year 2019-20 is 10.7 percent when compared to 10.0 percent for academic year 2018-19.  This overall percentage increase is attributed to enrollment growth in the following URM category: 

  • Hispanic/Latino increased by 127 enrollees or 27.2 percent.
