This milestone highlights the continued growth and impact of osteopathic medical education across the country. AOGME Business Meeting Rescheduled & Spotlight Series Sessions 

Please note that the AOGME Annual Business Meeting has been rescheduled to April 15 due to scheduling conflicts. AOGME Reception at AACOM Educating Leaders 2026 Annual Conference 

As we look ahead, I invite you to join us at the upcoming AACOM Educating Leaders 2026 annual conference in Las Vegas. AACOM-UNC GME Development Fellowship Preconference Workshop 

In addition, we are pleased to highlight the AACOM-UNC GME Development Fellowship Preconference Workshop, taking place on Tuesday, April 21, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Caesars Palace. This full-day workshop offers an interactive and practical exploration of key topics in GME development, including GME finance, scenario-based planning, case discussions, lessons learned from challenges, and strategies to overcome barriers. For your reference, the agenda is included here to provide an overview of the planned sessions. 

Call for Nominations for the Residents and Fellows Council Board 

Finally, I encourage residents and fellows to consider getting more involved with AOGME leadership. The AOGME Nominations Committee is currently seeking nominations for the Residents and Fellows Council (RFC) Board for a two-year term (May 2026–April 2028). Open positions include Chair, Vice-Chair, and Education Chair. Serving on the RFC Board is a valuable opportunity to help shape the experiences of residents and fellows nationwide.
